Silver Dollar Room
For this long time customer, our challenge was to outfit a 30'x135' meeting space with the latest A/V technology while effectively blending it into the room's unique rustic decor. The wooden "picture" frames hold the SonicPrint acoustical panels that are printed with custom graphics. The panels share similar acoustical properties to the other fabric covered panels that we installed throughout the room. All of the A/V elements in the room are controllable from either the wired or wireless Crestron touch panels located in the room.
We measured reverberation time (RT) in the room prior to treatment at 3.8 which confirmed the poor clarity and echo that could be heard throughout the room. After designing treatments to lower the RT in the room, we installed 42 acoustical sound panels throughout which lowered the RT time to 1.3, what a difference! When not in use, the HD projection screens retract into decorative frames that also contain the custom-printed SonicPrint acoustical panels.
